Air pollution and quality are global issues. Smog paralyzes cities from China to Indonesia, American children suffer from higher and higher rates of asthma, and poor air quality leads to thousands of premature deaths a year. The good news? There are some fantastic organizations and technologies out there cleaning up our skies.

Weather and climate are often used synonymously yet are actually distinct, equally important scientific entities. Weather is the day-to-day and week-to-week meteorological events that affects life on the surface of the planet. Severe weather systems have major impact on human life. Predicting and preparing for these natural disasters is of paramount importance.

Climate is the trend of the overall atmospheric system, the year-to-year patterns that define where rainforests grow, where ocean waters freeze to form giant glaciers, and where deserts extend, hot and sandy. Visitors to this area will be able to look at the world in a whole new way, learn how climate change affects their daily lives, and how they can stand up and make a difference for the future of life on Earth.
