Earth Day Texas is an annual festival seeking to elevate environmental awareness and influence the way Texans, think, live and work.

Join the Earth Day Texas Ambassador Program.

EDTx Volunteers will be called upon throughout the year to promote Earth Day Texas in a variety of settings: at the State Fair, in schools, community events and at our signature event held at Fair Park April 24-25-26, 2015.

We are looking for volunteer leaders who are passionate about the environment, customer-service oriented and eager to promote sustainability efforts for all Texans.

Volunteer program is for those 18 and over.  Minors (aged 16 and above) will be accepted as part of a school/group or project.  We reserve the right to amend qualifications based on particular project or need.

Earth Day Texas has a booth at the State Fair of Texas. We have over 144 four-hour shifts to fill throughout the 24 days of the State Fair.

Serve as Ambassadors to create a welcoming environment for State Fair guests. Staffed in pairs, your role is to work the Earth Day Texas booth by reaching out to festival participants and encourage the public to interact with the 60" spherical OmniGlobe and Aardvark Computerized Games. You will guide participants to learn environmental concepts in a fun, entertaining way where they can test their skills and gain knowledge playing computer games.
